Seeing Colours and Feeling Pains

You may have heard of a condition called Synesthesia.  It’s been known about for some Coloured Numberstime and at its simplest level, is a mixing of the senses. The word comes from the Greek words “syn” (together) and “aesthesia” (sensation).  It is a conscious experience in which the stimulation of one of the senses results in the feeling of a different one. Health in the Navel….

Pregnancy“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3).  The need for spiritual rebirth is a well-known and oft-used analogy in the scriptures.  In the passage above, Jesus is teaching the Jewish leader, Nicodemus, and goes on to teach that two rebirths are necessary – one of the water (baptism) and another of the spirit.  Such an analogy Continue reading

Depression and the Atonement (part 2)
